Why Appleton Wool

Recently, I visited a needlepoint store in Boston. Walls were covered with small, fussily painted canvases of fine gauge. I make needlepoint designs for cushions, and buy all my yarn from Nabavian. The Boston shop owner said my work can only be done in wool because the fancy fibers she sells would make a project unaffordable. Hah!

Just what I needed
