Appletons English Wool

Appletons English Wool is unique, not just for its color range, consistency, and vibrancy but for its heritage. It is British from sheep to needle and only leaves shores once en route to its final destination.
Available in over 420 colors and two weights it can be used in needlepoint, tapestry, embroidery, weaving (in fact, almost any creative work) and comes in either a hank, for those who need larger amounts of the same color, and skeins which are smaller, labeled for convenience and perfect for projects needing smaller amounts of different wools.
All colors and both forms are available in either two-ply (crewel) wool or four-ply (tapestry) wool and are usually in stock. As a guide, the amount of wool in each is as follows:

Crewel Hank: 180m                  Tapestry Hank 55m

Crewel Skein: 25m                    Tapestry Skein 10m
