Knife Edged Persian Weaver’s Hook (“Chaghoo”)

For re-weaving, re-napping, or re-piling rugs.

Made in Iran

Product Description

These hand made Weaver’s Hooks (“chaghoo”) vary slightly in size due to the way they are made.

Primarily used to re-pile a rug, the larger hooked “Ilmack”, can be used on most repair jobs, especially for tying knots.

The finer hooked “Khaab”, is best used for working on fine knitted rugs, and to pull threads out (as opposed to knotting).

The wider “Baft” is best used for knotting ends of rugs.
